A Ghanaian man of God, Osofo Opoku, has warned incoming President John Dramani Mahama that if he wants to succeed, he has to forget his promise to abolish the punishing e-levy tax.
According to Osofo Opoku, building a nation is difficult and the incoming government would need taxes to fulfil their agenda.
He said it would therefore be a wrong move for the NDC to abolish the e-levy.
Opoku also said in order to raise more revenue, the new NDC government should bring back toll booths which used to raise significant amount of cash for the country before it was abolished by the NPP.
