Victoria Hammah and Joyce Bawa Mogtari have come to the defense of First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo after she faced criticism for her reaction to comments made about her husband during his final State of the Nation Address (SONA).
The outgoing president, Nana Akufo-Addo, received a chastening reception when he appeared before Parliament for the SONA last Friday.
Deputy Minority Leader Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah remarked that Akufo-Addo's tenure served as a timely reminder of how not to govern a country.
Following the President's address, the First Lady was captured on video appearing to snub the Speaker of Parliament, ostensibly for not controlling the NDC MPs when they criticized her husband.
