The Greater Accra Regional Organiser of the (NDC), Amorse Blessing Amos, has cautioned potential appointees of the incoming administration to prioritise accountability and respect for the party's grassroots supporters.
Speaking at the NDC's Victory Walk in Accra on Saturday, January 4, 2024, he urged future government officials to avoid corruption and arrogance, emphasising the pivotal role grassroots supporters played in securing the party's victory in the December 7 elections. "For those who are fortunate to secure appointments to serve the country, we don't want to hear anyone claim they are not here to serve the party's interests "On behalf of the youth of the NDC and the youth of Ghana, I want to remind all appointees of the hard work and sacrifices made by the grassroots.
They cannot afford to disappoint.
Whatever opportunities exist in this government, the NDC grassroots deserve their fair share," he urged.
