The General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has expressed confidence that any attempt by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to secure a stay of execution of the High Court ruling on the NPP's mandamus application will be unsuccessful.
His remarks follow the High Court's directive to the Electoral Commission (EC) to complete the collation of results in the constituencies of Tema Central, Ablekuma North, Okaikwei Central, and Techiman South by January 6, 2025.
Addressing a press briefing, Kodua asserted that the NPP has been confident from the onset about its victory in the contested parliamentary seats. "We know the NDC are playing some antics.
As I speak to you, they are preparing to file an Appeal and Stay of Execution but we are not perturbed by it.
