A 65-year-old Tamale-based businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Ayaana, has embarked on a remarkable journey, walking approximately 250-kilometer from Tamale to Accra.

His mission is to arrive in Accra by January 7, 2025, to witness the swearing-in ceremony of President-elect .

This information was shared by Edhub on X on January 4, 2025, stating, "The 65-year-old, who initially traveled to Kumasi by vehicle, began his trek on foot to honor President-elect John Mahama for his decisive victory in the 2024 presidential election." This isn't Alhaji Ayaana's first symbolic journey.
