The High Court has ordered the Electoral Commission (EC) to complete the collation of results for the Tema Central constituency by incorporating the two outstanding polling station results.

The court also directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP), George Akufo-Addo Dampare, to ensure adequate security is provided to maintain order during the collation process.

Following an initial re-collation exercise, Charles Forson, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Tema Central, was declared the winner.

Forson secured 18,870 votes, narrowly defeating Ebi Bright of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who had initially been declared the winner with 18,815 votes.
