President Akufo-Addo has touted the achievements of the country's security services under his administration.
He said their collaborative efforts have ensured that "Our country's territorial integrity is intact." The President said this during his final State of the Nation Address (SONA) on January 3. "Ghana remains the only country in the neighbourhood to have not fallen victim to terrorism.
I wish to pay great homage to the security managers for the work done to keep the country safe," the President stated.
The SONA, mandated by Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution, provides the President with an opportunity to report on the nation's status before leaving office.
