A fire outbreak at Kantamanto market in Accra caused significant damage early Thursday morning, January 02, 2025.
Over 100 shops were razed down in the blaze, which began around 1:00 am.
The Ghana National Fire Service responded swiftly, dispatching about 13 fire tenders from across Accra to combat the flames.
Firefighters battled the inferno throughout the morning, successfully bringing it under control.
