Francis Doku, a communications professional with over two decades of experience, has proposed former Attorney General Benjamin Kumbour as the Speaker for the yet-to-be-inaugurated ninth Parliament.
He argued that the former Member of Parliament has extensive experience in public service, law, and governance to be considered as the next Speaker.
To him, Dr.
Kumbour's experience makes him an exemplary candidate for the position of Speaker of Ghana's Parliament...In an opinion piece, he appealed to the powers that be to consider him for the position of Speaker even if someone had already been selected.
