The outgoing president, , has affirmed his confidence in leaving behind a Ghana that is safe, secure, and firmly rooted in democratic principles.
In his final State of the Nation Address delivered in Parliament on Friday, January 3, 2024, he expressed gratitude for the trust and support of the Ghanaian people over the past eight years.
Akufo-Addo described his time in office as an immense privilege, emphasising his commitment, energy, and love for Ghana.
Reflecting on his tenure, he said: "It has been the highest privilege of my life to serve as president of this great nation.
