The Conference of Heads of Assisted Senior High Schools (CHASS) has urged the Ghana Education Service (GES) to reconsider reopening schools on January 3, 2025, due to unresolved financial issues.

In an interview on Joy News on Thursday, January 7, 2024, CHASS General Secretary, Baro Primus, emphasised that schools have not received funds or food supplies, making it challenging for them to provide essential services to students.

He further explained the position of CHASS, stating, "We haven't rescinded our decision.

Our appeal still holds.
