Former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, has indicated that the party needs to focus on ensuring there is unity in the political party.
He says this is not the time the party should be divided along the lines of who becomes the next flagbearer of the political party.
To Freddie Blay, what the party needs to focus on now is identifying what caused their defeat and why the members of the political party refused to come out and vote in the 2024 elections.
After this, he believes that the party can make a decision on who will lead them in the 2028 elections.
