Six individuals who allegedly used force to prevent electorates from voting during the December 7 general election at Nyankpala in the Northern Region have been granted bail.
The court granted the accused persons Alhassan Abukari, Alhaji Bashiru Mohammed, Yakubu Sumaila, Alhaji Alhassan Nasiru Nasam, Majeed Issah and Kamara Fode Issaiaga bail in a sum of GHC50,000 with two sureties.
These persons are to report to the Police Investigation Department(CID) in Accra as well as the Regional Command in Tamale.
However, reports indicate that an accomplice, Latif Abdulai aka Copshie is at large.
