Ten officers who had filed a lawsuit to block their transfers by the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) have officially abandoned the case.

The officers have informed the court of their decision, reserving the right to reapply in the future if necessary.

In their original suit, the officers claimed that Deputy Inspector-General of Police Christian Yohonu had instructed them to disregard the transfer order.

This development signifies a cessation of their legal challenge against the Police Administration's directive.
