The management team of Legendary musician Amakye Dede have issued an official statement revealing that a road accident was reason for his poor performance in Kumasi.
According to the statement, the accident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, December 29, 2024, around 1:50 AM, as Amakye Dede and his team were traveling from Takoradi City Mall to Agona Swedru for their next show.
The unfortunate incident took place between Apam and Winneba.
The management disclosed that Amakye Dede and his team were rushed to the Winneba Hospital, where they received first aid treatment from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM.
