Former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the (NDC), Joseph Ade Coker, has issued a stern reminder to party members and leaders about the importance of staying connected to grassroots supporters and strongholds.
Speaking on Adom TV during an interview on December 31, 2024, he emphasised, "Even though we are for the development of the whole of Ghana, there must be a little emphasis on regions that are very loyal to us-such as the Northern Region, parts of the Eastern Region, Volta Region, and Greater Accra.
So, it should be holistic development for the entire country, but emphasis must also be placed on your strongholds." He reflected on lessons learned from the past years in opposition and the recent elections, stressing that neglecting the party's base and strongholds could lead to severe consequences from the people of Ghana. "A lot of lessons have been learned in the last four years, and in this particular election.
If you neglect your base and neglect the people of Ghana, they will punish you," he warned.
