Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics Mussa Dankwah, has opposed any conversation that calls on President-elect John Dramani Mahama to serve two consecutive terms.

He believes that having served a term already between 2013 and 2016, Mr Mahama should just do his second term after winning the 2024 elections and leave the scene.

Mussa Dankwah was reacting to publications in Ghanaian media that the idea of John Dramani Mahama considering a constitutional amendment to serve two consecutive terms is gaining traction, The publications indicate that while he may not be perfect, Mahama has consistently demonstrated a sense of integrity and statesmanship over the years.

If he chooses to amend the constitution, it will likely be driven by his vision for Ghana, and there's little his critics can do to change that.
