Daniel Keshi Bessey, the newly elected Member of Parliament (MP) for the Sege Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, has stated that his landslide victory in the 2024 parliamentary election represents the voice of the constituency's peace-loving voters who are anxious for a change in administration.

He spoke to the media after Stephen Oppong, the EC's Returning Officer, announced the result, stating that the victory contributed to the (NDC) record of winning the 2024 election by a wide margin.

However, he observed that most registered voters never hesitated to participate in this year's election, influencing voter participation and the margin he projected to win over the other candidates.

According to him, the (NPP) administration has deflated the confidence in the populace which remains the major factor for not taking part in the poll. "The voter turn-out affected what I was expecting in the election.
