In an interview on Lawson Radio/TV monitored by MyNewsGH, Prophet Paul Kusi Appiah, known as the Warrior-Prophet, addressed the reasons behind Dr Mahamudu Bawumia's defeat in the 2024 presidential elections.

Despite his earlier predictions of victory, the prophecy did not come to pass, and the Prophet offered a candid explanation of what went wrong.

Speaking with host Kwame Tanko, Prophet Kusi Appiah expressed his disappointment over the turn of events, revealing that his advice and warnings to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership were ignored. "I had made it clear from the beginning, but my words fell on deaf ears," the Warrior-Prophet said. "The party didn't heed the advice that was given, and this is the result." Prophet Kusi Appiah went on to reveal that the issue surrounding Bawumia's loss is far more complex than it seems. "There are significant secrets surrounding this defeat, secrets that could cause further divisions within the NPP," he continued. "It's not just a matter of a simple loss; there are deeper issues at play, and I'd rather not delve into them right now because it could stir more unrest." The Prophet, whose prophecies have gained a large following, also mentioned that his prediction, along with those of others, such as the respected Prophet Kusi Boateng, had failed to materialize.

He attributed this failure to Bawumia and the NPP's failure to follow the right path. "It's not about the lack of prophecy, but the failure to act on the guidance given," Kusi Appiah said.
