The Ghana National Fire Service has brought a fire outbreak on a two-storey building at Essipong in the Western region under control.
The service, in a brief statement, said upon arrival at the scene, they discovered the second floor fully engulfed in flames and immediately initiated an aggressive firefighting approach.
It said that the personnel used strategic offensive techniques to successfully confine the blaze to the second floor, bringing it under control within 18 minutes and extinguishing it shortly after. "The firefighters' timely response and skilful efforts saved the building from further destruction, averting what could have been a more devastating incident," the stamenet added.
