As an up-and-coming artiste navigating the vibrant Ghanaian music industry, I've always found inspiration in the icons who have paved the way-Sarkodie being one of the brightest stars among them.
After attending the recently concluded Rapperholic concert, I couldn't help but express my admiration on X (formerly Twitter), posting: "I want God to make me like Sarkodie when I grow up." It was a heartfelt declaration, not just a passing comment.
Little did I know that my musical hero would see my post, let alone respond.
Fast forward a bit, and Sarkodie actually replied.
