South Dayi Member of Parliament, Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor, has criticised the conduct of some Electoral Commission (EC) officials in the handling of the 2024 general elections.

He argued that officials who are unable to perform their duties impartially as public servants should resign and focus on their personal ventures. "I am questioning the conduct of some EC officials… they cannot apply the rules differently when it suits them," he said on The Key Points on TV3 on Saturday, December 28, while discussing the Supreme Court's decision to overturn a High Court ruling on the re-collation of results in some constituencies.

He added, "Be a party foot soldier if you can't do the job.

All we are saying is that the proper thing should be done." Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North, Kwame Andy Appiah Kubi, commended the Supreme Court for its decision to quash the High Court ruling on the re-collation in the disputed constituencies.
