Developments must be driven by a national agenda, not one is that motivated by political interests, Dean of the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Law School, Professor Ernest Kofi Abotsi has said.

Prof Abotsi states emphatically that politically driven development is not the kind of development Ghanaians desire because such developments only exploit the frustrations of voters for parochial party interests.

He has therefore called for a change in the way politics is done in Ghana.

In a post on his X page, he said "Ghana's recent experience at governance shows that sloganeering politics not backed by blueprints fails!
