The Supreme Court has upheld the re-collated parliamentary election results for the Nsawam Adoagyiri and Ahafo Ano North constituencies, affirming the Electoral Commission's (EC) declarations for these areas.

This decision comes amidst ongoing disputes over the legality and fairness of the re-collation process in other constituencies.

While setting aside re-collated results for Okaikwei Central, Ablekuma North, Tema Central, and Techiman South, the court emphasized the distinct legal standing of Nsawam Adoagyiri and Ahafo Ano North.

Justice Gabriel Pwamang, the presiding judge, clarified: "Accordingly, the collation of results in the above constituencies by the EC after 20th December 2024 on the orders of the court are hereby set aside. "For the avoidance of doubt, the orders of the court made in respect of Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ahafo-Ano North are not affected by this our order and in effect those declarations stand." The annulled results in the four other constituencies were part of a broader legal challenge by the National Democratic Congress (NDC), which alleged procedural flaws and violations of natural justice in the re-collation process ordered by the High Court.
