The Overlord of Gonjaland, His Royal Majesty Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewusoale I has urged President-Elect John Dramani Mahama to appoint persons with integrity and a genuine commitment to serve the nation.
During a courtesy visit by Mahama, Yagbonwura urged the president-elect to appoint persons who would carry along with the goals and aspirations of Ghanaians to ensure that they are fulfilled. "I urge you to appoint those who possess both integrity and a genuine commitment to serve the nation." Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewusoale I also urged Mahama to continue implementing policies that resonate with the aspirations of Ghanaians.
He reminded the former president that he was in a social contract with Ghanaians, and for that reason, he was to live up to his task.
