The idea of President-elect John Dramani Mahama considering a constitutional amendment to serve two consecutive terms is gaining traction, despite warnings from his critics, including Professor Steven Adei, who caution against such a move.
However, what his critics fail to understand is that John Mahama is not driven by greed, unlike some of them.
While he may not be perfect, he has consistently demonstrated a sense of integrity and statesmanship over the years.
If he chooses to amend the constitution, it will likely be driven by his vision for Ghana, and there's little his critics can do to change that.
