The Asante Akropong Circuit Court has remanded 24-year-old Michael Gyamfi into police custody for stealing a metal table and unlawful entry at Abuakwa in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District of the Asante Region.
During the court proceedings presided over by Mrs.
Gloria Mensah Bonsu, the accused admitted to unlawful entry but denied stealing the metal table.
The prosecutor, Police Chief Inspector Evans Baaba Ayimbisa, explained to the court that the complainant, Evans Nsia, who is an electric welder, detected some pipes estimated at GHC 15,000 missing from his uncompleted building on December 13, 2024.
