President-elect John Dramani Mahama, in his Christmas message, called on Ghanaians to embrace the spirit of hope, unity, and renewal as the nation prepares for a brighter future.

He expressed profound gratitude to the people of Ghana for entrusting him with the opportunity to lead as president and commander-in-chief of the Ghana Armed Forces. "As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and reflect on the values He exemplified, I wish to thank you, the good people of Ghana, for granting me the honour to serve you," Mahama said, emphasizing the importance of the festive season as a time to come together and work towards shared progress and inclusivity.

Mahama reiterated his vision to build a prosperous nation rooted in freedom, justice, accountability, and equal opportunities for all.
