Okwahu United needs to be back playing on Okwahu soil urgently and in good time. That is the message from the club president and Nkosuohene of Nkwatia, Nana Owiredu Wadie I (NOW1). Okwahu will play its home games in the upcoming season at the Koforidua Stadium but NOW1 says it is now the responsibility of every Okwahu fan to help bring them truly home to ensure the club takes its rightful place in the Ghana Premier League. In an engagement with club executive Mr Kwadwo Akoto Bamfo on the plans for the new season, NOW1 pledged his full support towards bringing the club back to play home games on Kwahu soil. And as a first step, Nana Owiredu Wadie I has pledged to help mobilize substantial funding towards the Mpraeso Park redevelopment "The Legacy Project".
