Majority Leader in Parliament and MP for Effutu, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, has expressed gratitude for the peace and unity prevailing in Ghana, even after a tense election period.
Speaking on Joy FM's Super Morning Show, he commended Ghanaians for their resilience and the stability maintained post-election. "We thank God for the peace we have in the country," he said, acknowledging the charged atmosphere that characterized the election period.
Reflecting on the country's ability to stay united despite political differences, Mr Afenyo-Markin emphasised the unifying force of the Ghanaian spirit. "Politics will come and go.
We may have our differences and ideologies, but what unites us all is the Ghanaian spirit. "Let's remember that we are one people, bound by a common purpose and love for our country," he remarked.
