Black Galaxies head coach Didi Dramani has emphasised the need for a careful and gradual integration of young striker Jerry Afriyie into senior-level football.

Afriyie, who plays for lower-tier side Thought FC, has been a standout in Ghanaian football, earning widespread recognition after being named the best player and top scorer at the All-Africa Games.

He recently made history by becoming the first player from Ghana's third-tier league to earn a call-up to the Black Stars, scoring on his debut in a 2-1 defeat to Niger during an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The 18-year-old is also part of the Black Galaxies squad vying for a place in the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN).
