Kofi Abotsi, has expressed serious concerns about the delay in the release of the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results.

According to him, the delay in the release of the WASSCE results only points to the fact that there is a crisis in the country's educational sector.

He pointed out that the country's education sector is fraught with a lot of challenges, including a lack of infrastructure and low teacher motivation, which are all signs of a system that has no proper planning and coordination. "The delayed release of WASSCE results is symptomatic of deeper crises in the educational sector.
