The Electoral Commission (EC) has suspended the re-collation exercise for the Dome Kwabenya and Ablekuma North parliamentary constituencies due to unresolved issues regarding critical election documents.

The announcement comes amidst ongoing efforts to address discrepancies flagged in the results from the December 7 general elections.

Reasons for Suspension The re-collation for Ablekuma North was halted after the returning officer failed to produce 62 pink sheets required to complete the process.

Without these key documents, verifying the results and finalising the re-collation proved impossible.
