The Vice Chancellor of the Cape Coast Technical University has called on engineers to continuously maintain a balance between technology and morality. Speaking at the induction ceremony of 75 engineers at the Institute of Engineering and Technology Ghana, Prof Kweku Adutwum Ayim Boakye admonished the inductees to avoid being "technological giants but moral dwarfs". He said it is great to have all the technological skills required in the various disciplines of engineering; however, practicing honesty and integrity in the work we do will keep Ghana going. For his part, Engr. Henry Kwadwo Boateng asked the inductees to be ethical in the performance of their duties as part of strategies for enhancing public confidence and trust in the work of engineers.
