Gospel icon Ohemaa Mercy has shared words of wisdom to young and aspiring gospel ministers. Ohemaa Mercy who has over a decade experience in the gospel ministry urged up-and-coming gospel singers to not emulate the style of other gospel singers. According to her, the gospel ministry is a calling from Jehovah and gospel ministers must thread cautiously in identifying their calling and ministry and move in that direction. "You need to have a spirit of discernment to know who is in to help you and who is in to destroy you "For me, I have had a lot of experience when it comes to people that come around and at the end they turn into enemies. "Are you called? This is a big ministry that you need to understand why you are called. You need to understand and know where God has positioned you to move with it and not copy from other people," she said on 3FM Sunrise on Friday, August 16.
