Nana Akosua Duaa Asor Sika Brayie II, the Paramount Queen Mother of the Sunyani Traditional Area has called on the President-elect to appoint more women into leadership positions.
She said women were passionate for development and appointing many of them would benefit the nation.
Nana Brayie II made the call when Asiedu Nketiah, the National Chairman of the NDC paid a courtesy on the Sunyani Traditional Council in Sunyani to express the party's appreciation to the chiefs and queens for the NDC's electoral victory in the 2024 General Elections.
The Paramount Queen mother entreated Mahama to remain humble and serve the people with high integrity, asking the NDC next government to guard against pride.
