, Special Aide to President-elect , has criticized the Electoral Commission's (EC) re-declaration of parliamentary results for certain constituencies following a re-collation exercise.

According to Joyce Bawah, the move is "unacceptable" and an affront to Ghana's democratic principles.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), she expressed disapproval over the EC's decision to re-collate and announce new parliamentary candidates for constituencies. "What is happening today, what has happened in Obuasi East, Nsawam Adoagyiri, Tema Central, etc., is an insult/affront to our nascent democracy, unbelievable, unprecedented, and shameful. "In Obuasi East, the re-collation led to the declaration of a new PC, Nsawam A, same thing, and let's see what happens next.

Acta Non Verba," she said.
