Samira Bawumia visits Mpohor Fiase Constituency

, Second Lady of Ghana, has reiterated the government's commitment to expanding technological innovation and youth development in the country. Speaking at a mammoth durbar at Mpohor in the Mpohor Fiase district of the Western Region, she said this is in line with the Bawumia-Napo digitization project to empower one million youths when the NPP wins the 2024 elections.
"Our government will train more people to engage in digitization jobs, improve their incomes, and be competitive in the global field of technology," the Second Lady announced amid thunderous applause from party supporters. She said the welfare of women will be prioritized so as to enable them to improve through skill training, adding that "this represents the surest way of increasing their incomes and better livelihoods."
appealed to the people to vote massively for and the MP for the constituency, John Abbam Sanie, to continue the good work that they have already started.
"I'm aware of the problems this constituency is experiencing, and together we will work hard to solve them," she said. She said Dr. Bawumia's victory will be felt in terms of the development and growth of the country's democracy, urging the electorate to join hands with her to maintain the NPP government as "we prepare to break the 8-year cycle of tenure.
