Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has successfully retained his parliamentary seat for Techiman South following a re-collation exercise at the Electoral Commission's regional head office in Accra.

The re-collation was prompted by disputes over the initial results of the Techiman South constituency, which had attracted attention from both political parties and the public.

After a thorough review of the election results, the Electoral Commission confirmed that Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah emerged victorious with a significant margin.

Korsah secured a total of 46, 663 votes, while his closest rival, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate, polled 43, 429 votes.
