Hearts of Oak bounced back to winning ways after losing Sunday's Super Clash against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko with a 3-1 win over Berekum Chelsea at the University of Ghana Stadium on Friday night.

The Phobians were set out to prove a point at the University of Ghana Stadium after losing with virtually the last kick on Sunday, and they enjoyed a perfect start when Martin Karikari teed up Ahmed Ramzy to finish from close range.

Hearts looked the superior side in the first half as Berekum Chelsea struggled to cope after the early goal disrupted their gameplan.

After the recess, Hearts of Oak continued in the ascendency, with Hamza Issah scoring his fourth goal of the season and the second on the night for the Phobians after he raced through on Berekum Chelsea's goal.
