Martin Adjei Mensah-Korsah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Techiman South, has officially been declared the winner of the constituency's election on December 21, following a disputed vote count from the December 7 elections.

The results saw him beat his closest competitor, Dr.

Christopher Baasongti Beyere of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who obtained 43,429 votes.

The victory, which has been confirmed after careful review, brings a sense of resolution to a contentious election process marked by disruptions and discrepancies.
