Samuel Okudzeto, leader of the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) team, has shared an important update with the public, revealing that they have received the full dossier on the National Service ghost names scandal.
In a post on his X page on December 20, Okudzeto expressed immense gratitude to The Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa, crediting them for their exceptional patriotism in assisting the team. "We are extremely grateful to The Fourth Estate and the Media Foundation for West Africa for the presentation and their exceptional patriotism. "Together, we shall reset Ghana and recover all loot," he wrote, emphasizing the team's commitment to rooting out corruption.
This development comes at a time when the public has been increasingly concerned about ghost names on the National Service roster, with reports indicating that several names were fraudulently added to the list, leading to the siphoning of government funds.
The ORAL team, which was formed as part of efforts to fight corruption, has been instrumental in uncovering various scandals, and the National Service ghost names issue is just the latest in a long list of corrupt practices they aim to tackle.
