Bishop Salifu Amoako and his wife, Mouha have been fined 500 penalty units each which is equivalent to (GHc6k each) by an Accra Circuit Court for failing to regulate their son leading to the death of two girls.
Additionally, the court presided over by Her Worship Bernice Mensimah Ackon also ordered the leader of the Alice Chapel International to pay for the damages of properties destroyed including a light pole valued over GHc8,000.
The parents of the 16-year-old also have a pending case at another court where they have been charged with one count of permitting an unlicensed person to drive.
The tragic accident in East Legon, Accra, has led to the sentencing of the 16-year-old son of Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako, the founder of Alive Chapel International.
