Alidu Seidu has successfully undergone surgery after suffering a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury last month.
The Ghana international sustained the injury during Rennes' Ligue 1 match against Lille.
Seidu was forced to leave the pitch after just 18 minutes, and the injury was later confirmed to be severe. "Victim of a ruptured cruciate ligament in his knee during the match against LOSC, our Ghanaian international will now be able to concentrate on his rehabilitation and re-aestheticization.
Strength to you, Alidu," Rennes announced in a statement.
