Bubbly Ghanaian media personality and actress Nana Ama McBrown recently opened up about a painful chapter in her life, recounting how a close friend's insensitive comments left her deeply hurt during her struggle to conceive.
In a heartfelt interview, Nana Ama disclosed that her childhood friend, Frema, whom she grew up with in Kumasi, publicly mocked her on social media over her inability to have children at the time.
Frema's remarks, which urged Nana Ama to "stop parading her husband and focus on giving birth," struck a nerve, especially as she was silently enduring the emotional and physical toll of fertility treatments in a bid to start her own family.
Adding to the sting of the comments, Frema went further to boast about her own motherhood journey, highlighting her ability to have children and proudly mentioning the effort she put into paying school fees for them.
