Emefa Narteh, Executive Secretary of the Ghana Anti-Corruption Coalition (GACC) and a staunch anti-corruption advocate, has expressed her concerns regarding Ghana's lack of progress in the fight against corruption.

In an interview on Ghana Akoma with Sir John on Akoma FM, she highlighted the shortcomings in the country's anti-corruption measures, pointing out that corruption has deeply infiltrated various levels of society, extending well beyond the realm of political will. "Accepting corruption as a norm in our country will not help us," Mrs.

Narteh warned. "Transparency, accountability, and integrity are essential in this fight," she added.

She emphasized that citizens have lost faith in Ghana's security institutions, which has deepened public mistrust and diminished the effectiveness of anti-corruption efforts.
