After months of extensive renovations, the of Ghana has reconvened in its official Chamber.

The newly-renovated Chamber, which underwent a €2.26 million retrofitting, was officially reopened on Thursday, December 19, 2024, with Members of resuming their duties in a modernised and upgraded environment.

Videos taken by GhanaWeb showed parliamentarians and some staff on the floor of the Chamber, admiring the work done.

The retrofitting work, which began in November 2014, involved replacing old cables, introducing new furniture, and upgrading audio-visual equipment to prevent future disruptions.
