The Supreme Court has announced that it will release its full reasoning for dismissing the cases against the anti-LGBTQI Bill on Friday, December 20.
The two suits, filed by media personality Richard Dela Sky and Amanda Odoi, were dismissed by the Supreme Court on Wednesday, December 18.
TV3's Laud Adu Asare, who was in court, reported that the apex court, chaired by Justice Avril Lovelace-Johnson, unanimously dismissed the suits.
The court stated that the Bill had not yet become law, rendering the plaintiffs' actions premature, as there was nothing on which the Supreme Court could exercise its judicial review jurisdiction.
