The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Ketu North Constituency, Edem Agbana has hailed former President John Dramani Mahama as "the fixer," emphasising his ability to address Ghana's current economic and governance challenges. According to him, Mr Mahama possesses the necessary experience and vision to restore the nation to a path of stability and growth. He noted that Mahama's previous tenure demonstrated a commitment to infrastructure development, social programmes, and good governance, positioning him as the ideal candidate to lead the country once again. Agbana's remarks come at a time when Ghana is facing significant economic hardships, including rising inflation, unemployment, and a struggling currency. Speaking at a youth town hall meeting at the Ho Technical University on Thursday, August 15, Mr Agbana pointed to Mr Mahama's record during his presidency, particularly his management of crises, such as the energy crisis (dumsor) that plagued the country.
