Ghanaian reggae musician and radio presenter, Blakk Rasta, has stirred a conversation about making Ghana's Parliament more relatable to the public by advocating for the use of Pidgin English during parliamentary discussions.

In an interview with Joy FM, Blakk Rasta argued that using Pidgin would bridge the communication gap between lawmakers and the general public, making parliamentary proceedings more accessible and engaging.

According to Blakk Rasta, the reliance on "big English" in Parliament often alienates many Ghanaians, leaving them unable to fully grasp the issues being debated. "I'm glad to hear people like A Plus and Baba Sadiq can speak Pidgin.

I've heard them do it, and I want to see more of it in Parliament.
